AHL Fights Breaking Out In The Locker Room Tunnels Is Exactly What We Need To Make Hockey Violent Again

I’ve got 3 words for all you bitches out there.

Olde.

Time.

Hockey.

By now I’m sure that everybody has seen this clip but what a moment for the American Hockey League. What a moment for hockey in general. These leagues have been trying their hardest to get fighting out of the game. You’re not allowed to jump into the crowd and beat some sack of shit over the head with his own shoe anymore. They’ve made it so you can’t pull a guy’s sweater over his head and pummel his helpless face with relentless fists of fury. They’ve made it so you can’t take your helmet off during fights and use it as small weaponry. They’ve gotten rid of staged fights. They’re enforcing suspensions for fighting too many times per season. Time and time again these leagues come up with new rules to pussify the game of hockey, and it’s just great to know that guys like Kurtis Gabriel and Vince Dunn are still out there chuckin’ knucks like a bunch of absolute savages.

You know these boys are a couple of good ol’ fashion goons when they don’t give a single shit about stepping on the concrete with their skates on. Just destroying the edges on those blades but they don’t give a damn because they’re not paid to skate. They’re paid to bleed. They are modern day gladiators and have more heart in their right fists than most NBA teams have on their entire bench. Stick taps all around for a couple of beauties. But yeah, maybe next time Kurtis Gabriel wants to be a hard ass and throw some bombs in the tunnel he should, ya know, actually throw a few punches instead of just letting his face hang out there like a speed bag. Lights out.
